We've tried to keep our guild rank structure as simple as possible. The idea being that we want to be a community of equals. However, even in a community of equals, it will be important to have limited access to some aspects of the guild, such as the guild funds that should be used exclusively for Guild Related purposes - buying emblems, funds for siege weapons, etc.

So that said, the following structure was created. Starting from the bottom:

Rank Level Title Comments
4 Dragon When someone accepts an invitation to our guild, they come in at this rank.

This is the new member to the guild. At this level you have access to the guild chat channel. Please use it! Get to know your fellow guild members. We want to meet you!

In addition, you are granted the ability to donate to the guild (assuming this ever gets implemented)

The only strict requirement to advance beyond this rank is to get your information listed on the members page of this web site. So please send it in or post it on the message board.

I expect most members to pass out of this level very quickly, once they have shown that they are not immature idiots. (To be blunt)

3 Dragon Knight

Dragon Magus

Dragon Priest

Dragon Shadow

This is the 'main' level for most of our members.

The rank is split up into four different titles to reflect your abilities and class in the game.

At this level, you have access to the guild chat channel, and donating, you may now invite people into the guild! You are encouraged to recruit people that you meet that you think would be a good addition to the guild!

Whenever you invite a new member, please direct them to this web site so that they may learn more information.

You also have the ability to 'remove' members of the rank 'Dragon'.  Should they prove to be not a good fit for our guild.

2 Dragon Warlord

Dragon Arch-Bishop

Dragon Spymaster

This is the 'officer' level of the guild. In addition to the abilities of the previous levels. People at this level gain 2 new abilities:

1. They may use the officers channel

2. They can promote Dragons to rank 3. (And are encouraged to do so for all good players at the rank of dragon.)

Members that consistently contribute to the guild, are on frequently, and have shown good judgement in recruiting will reach this level in the ranks.

Officers are expected to be on regularly and to try to help the guild in whatever ways they are able

You'll note that the Knight and Magus titles have been combined intgo 'Warlord' at this level.

1 Dragon Elder This is the 'highest' rank in the guild. The only reason there is a higher rank, is because the game system only allows for one 'leader'.

Members at this level should have the complete trust of every member in the guild. They have access to the guild treasury, and have the ability to promote people up to rank 2.

Also, Dragon Elders have the ability to use the 'Alliance' channel when it is implemented. This channel is something that will be used for inter-guild commnuication. Presumably to coordinate Realm vs Realm combat.

0 Grand Dragon Elder This is Guild Master. In addition to all other abilities, this person can promote people to Rank 1.

This person is currently Wistan Lyonsbane.
